Hi everyone, welcome to my, “We Fight Cancer You Can Too”, website. My name is Audrey Jean and I am very honored to have you as my guest at this site. I am positive that you will find what I have to share very rewarding.
I spent most of my time in the medical administration field transcribing, editing voice recordings and medical documentations.
As a transcriptionist, I had to be fast and accurate with my hands. However, at the age of 45 I found myself victim to rheumatoid arthritis. Due to the Arthritis, I was introduced to heavy doses of drugs used to relieve arthritic pain. These drugs thwarted my immunity system, and possibly helped to open the door to cancer.
A Little About My Dance With Cancer
I am a 69-year-old Grandmother, a Great Grandmother and a mother. At the end of September 2018 I began to experience a strange phenomenon with my body. My urine turned very dark and my stools changed into orange pumpkin colored rolly-polies. Then, if that was not scary enough, my husband looked at me one day and said, “You look like an Oompa Loompa from Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory”. This happened on a day in October. Had I waited too long?
He coaxed me into my doctor’s office and my doctor quickly admitted me into the hospital in Prescott, Arizona. The GI surgeon placed a stent in my biliary duct, so my gall bladder drained properly, as it was clogged with sludge and the head of my pancreas pushed against my gall bladder. This surgery was temporary, enough to get me to Banner Desert Medical Center where the real fun began.
I spent ten days there only to discover I harbored full-blown stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
One day, when I came out of surgery, the surgeon spoke to my husband and I. He told us the cancer was very aggressive. I thought aloud, “At least God gave me 68 wonderful years.” I was not scared.
My husband and my surgeon walked a little way from my bed. The surgeon must have said something negative, because my husband turned very pale. I found out how very much my hubby loves me that day. He clung to the surgeon and said, “No, you can stop this. You can heal her.” Then, he almost passed out. Later I learned the surgeon told him that the cancer was so aggressive I had 2 maybe 4 months to live.
Yet, Here I am, almost a year later and I want to share what we have done that brought me this far. I pray my experience will help as many as possible to live a longer, healthier and happier though they have cancer or other illnesses.
A Little About Kicking Cancer Where It Counts
Knowing he was racing against time; my husband began extensive research. He spoke to MD’s and ND’s, one being his own sister. My husband listened to any advice. He talked with my sister, a nurse and spoke with my daughters. His research along with input from his and my relatives led to a regimen that I still use to this day. We all worked together to fight this cancer. Yes, we are fighting this cancer.
We chose both traditional medicine and naturopathic medicine and holistic methods. The first chemotherapy I experienced left me weak and very tired. However, I began using the holistic products. In a short period, I noticed I was regaining strength and endurance. I can feel a big difference when I use these natural products. I can maintain weight and energy which incredibly eliminates side effect. My cancer screens that were once very high are normal now, and I’m kicking cancer where it counts.
I wish to share all I know. My aspiration is to reach out and help as many as I can that suffer with cancer or other illnesses. I live a happy life. I appreciate even the smallest of things in life now, and I want so much for others who are fighting cancer or disease to live happier and healthier.
I firmly believe that what I am doing to maintain health with very little pain can be achieved by those who are now suffering.
To your healing and health.
